Commissions

3 min read
Hello DA folks,
long time no see !!!
I wanted to write about my commission fee and also throw in some terms of service.

- portrait A5 sketch = 15 €/20 €
- portrait A5 ink.     = 20 €/25 €
- portrait A5 color.   = 25 €/30 €

- portrait A4 sketch = 20 €/25 €
- portrait A4 ink.     = 25 €/30 €
- portrait A4 color.   = 30 €/35 €

- bust A5 sketch = 25 €/30 €
- bust A5 ink.     = 35 €/40 €
- bust A5 color.   = 45 €/50 €

- bust A4 sketch = 55 €/60 €
- bust A4 ink.     = 65 €/70 €
- bust A4 color.   = 75 €/80 €

- full body A4 sketch = 100 €/120 €
- full body A4 ink.     = 125 €/130 €
- full body A4 color   = 140 €/150 €

- extra character.      = 50 € (only A4)

prices are in Euros as I live in Europe, it will be applied according to exchange currency. I use Canson paper 224g/m2 or Bristol paper 240g/m2 depending on the medium used. The A4 is slightly bigger, actually a 24x32cm size which I find more comfortable for full body, but I can make it a regular A4 if needed. I can do cotton or linen canvases, please contact me for rates. First price column is for digital media, second is for traditional. Traditional is of course a bit more expensive as it costs me paper, pencils paint, etc... From bust drawing and above, half of the price should be paid in advance.
Shipping fees are not included in the above price list.
I don't take commissions for environment paintings or drawings, but if you like some of the paintings I do as part of my personal work, we can of course discuss about the price, depending on the time I've been spending on it.
In any case, if the customer cancels the commission, only the half of the deposit will be refunded, the other half considered a payment for the time spent on the job. Please make it clear about what you want and how you want it when commissioning an artwork. Most of my traditional job can be be seen on my Instagram (leseraphin) You can reach me through My DA profile for any question, which I will be very pleased to answer.

Sooo I guess it's time for a new journal. It's not some kind of lazyness or such but I really prefer spending my time drawing and painting. However, my gallery eventually reached 8000 pageviews so it was important enough to take some time to thank all of you guys whoh support my art with your faves and visits : THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!! I apologize for not answering to each and every :+fav: I receive but it truly warms my heart and motivates me even more to improve my skills. However, I'm always pleased to answer any commment and also appreciate any constructive critique.
You can also reach me on Twitter : @IgorLeseraphin
and even on Tumblr where I mostly blog about art : penciladdict.tumblr.com

Once again, Big Big Thanks to all of you !!! I learned everything I know about art by myself, I never went to an art school or courses, except
for a 3 days workshop last October, and I still have a lot to learn, but I'd be happy to help anyone who wish with the things I already know, because I think knowledge is something you shouldn't have to pay for. Well, I think I'm gonna stop here for now. God bless you all. Peace

And here we go again !!!!
Holidays are gone, blown away by the wind of september. I've been trying to have a normal social life those last 2 months, seeing some friends, spending the maximum of time with my wife and children, going to the theater (Spiderman and The Dark Knight : couldn't miss those two), Recharging my mind and body with solar energy....but still, slowly preparing my comeback on DA. I'll be uploading some pices in the following days so keep watching ! I've been to the devmeet in Paris in June, which was a wonderful experience. I've met a lot of great artists as well as our beloved administrators who make it real everyday for us, and I hope I'll have the opportunity to join another such meeting in the future. Also, I will be participating a workshop in October with no less than Marc Simonetti :iconmarcsimonetti: and my art guru Marko Djurdjevic :dance::dance::dance::dance:
Imagine learning from great art masters for 3 whole days. I thank God for such an opportunity.
I didn't have much time to browse galleries on DA, but however, enough to notice some great talented artists that I would like to include in this entry, as I now do in every journal I write, so this time I'm proud to present to the audience Mr :icondanluvisiart: a guy whose gallery is really worth visiting. The next one is :iconduss005: I just love his way of illustrating with traditional media. I wish I learned to use some of those before I came to digital stuff :D And the last to get his icon in this journal is :iconmoroteo56: go visit his gallery and you'll understand. Some persons probably don't need to to get an entry in any journal to be on the front of the scene but I just consider that the purpose of all this is to share with each other, and to me, it is a good way of doing it. Well, I wouldn't like to bother too much so I'll stop here. As always, I wish the best to all of you, take care of yourselves and your families. Peace

Hi folks,
A year has passed since my last entry... Not that I was too lazy to give some news (or maybe was I, after all) but I had soe interesting feedbacks on my paintings and I tried to use those informations constructively to push my art to a higher level. Thanks so much to all of you guys who had sent me your critics and comments.
I also had a thought during this period, about what I really wanted to paint, and I started a series of iconic characters, from super heroes to movie heroes
(OK I was already doing this :D) but with a new approach, trying to paint some dramatic lighting or some very dynamic pose, so I hope you will enjoy my new stuff as much as the older pieces.
I was also very nicely surprised with the success that I encountered with my Darth Maul painting (it has been viewed more than 3000 times !!!)
so I will very soon give a counterpart to this piece :lightsaber:
Of course I still would like to use this journal to feature some artists that especially drew my attention on DA, as I did in my previous journal.
Let's start with a guy that I greatly appreciate, and who is doing some amazing job : I'm very proud to introduce Mr :iconknytcrawlr: Be sure to visit his fabulous gallery.
Next one on the list is :iconrobert-shane: The guy has been painting some outstanding pieces from the Star Wars, DC, and Marvel universe and I'd be very happy if he gets more exposure for his art ;)
The last artist to featured in this entry is a guy of great talent that I discovered very recently on Twitter (#DeviantArt) and who also deserves some more exposure on DA, so give room to Mr :iconleejj:

As some crazy hare said long time ago, "that's all folks" Stay tuned for the upcoming releases, take care of yourselves and your families...Peace to all of you

Hi folks,
I've been very busy these last 2 months, as you may notice from the bunch of new stuff filling my gallery :D
Most of those releases I consider as various studies about color, light, environment and architecture, and I would like to
thank all of you guys who gave some feedback on my work. :highfive: I was very pleased to get even some faves which I did'nt expect,
so I guess I'm on the right path ;)I eventually took some time to travel through several galleries, and it is always a great pleasure to see
the huge amount of talent in this community. I thought that I would use this journal to regularly feature some remarkable artists which especially drew my attention.

So the first one will be :iconartlambi: and his awesome comicbook wallpaperz artlambi.deviantart.com/art/Co…
Be sure ti visit his gallery also, the guy is doing a great job

The next one is my friend from Serbia :iconjovan-ukropina: for his amazing job on the french book named "Là où vivent les morts" fav.me/d35hf6h A captivating, story taking place after WWI :w00t:

And the last artist I want to feature here is :iconkhinson: for her unbelievable talent with pencils. She is honestly one of the greatest pencillers I met on DA

That's all for now folks, I think I will be doing some coleoring in the next months to relax myself, and I am open to partnership if some of you are interested .

Peace to all of you, take care of yourselves and your families, Love is the answer
